Some news from the studio for those that care:

MIKE LADD: The Infesticons album is almost complete and is currently scheduled to be released on May 22nd. It will be preceded by a single on April 17th, called "Hero Theme" (the Infesticons' fighting song) and backed by a track called "Shampoo Theme," a list of the Majesticons' favourite things, including Patrick Swayze, Celine Dion songs and PM Dawn in sequinned... hell, you'll have to wait and hear it. We can also now announce that - barring complete fuck-ups or hideous time delays - the single will feature a remix from The Automator, fresh from his success as a Handsome Boy. Lovely... NEW FLESH FOR OLD: New Flesh are working on a new track for their next single, provisionally entitled "Word Made Flesh". In addition to Toastie Tailor, Juice Aleem and Robotic E.B.U. the track will feature vocal contributions from Gift of Gab of Blackalicious fame. Gab saw New Flesh play in Germany during their European tour and came backstage afterwards to say how much he'd enjoyed it. From such encounters... Expect a release late spring/early summer. ROOTS MANUVA: Mr Manuva is back in the studio working on a follow-up to "Brand New Second Hand". The first tune to be released from his head is "Son Of The Soil". We can report the trademark Walworth Road shuffle, great splunkums of dubbly bass, some bar room piano playing from the man himself and a voice in flight (is that singing? Could be...). Whatever, it's sounding awesome. Hold tight - more reports soon...
